Last updated: 13 August 2026

This policy explains how SG RenewDrive ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data, in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA"). By submitting your details through our website or contacting us on WhatsApp, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

1. What Personal Data We Collect

When you use our quote form or contact us on WhatsApp, we may collect:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • COE category and COE expiry date
  • Any additional details you voluntarily share with us over WhatsApp or in conversation (e.g. vehicle details, financial circumstances relevant to your renewal)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

  • Provide you with a COE renewal cost estimate and respond to your enquiry
  • Contact you via WhatsApp, phone, or email regarding your enquiry or application
  • Facilitate your COE renewal loan application with a bank or finance company, where you instruct us to do so
  • Comply with legal or regulatory obligations, including those under LTA requirements
  • Maintain records for internal administration and service quality purposes

3. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We only disclose your personal data where necessary to:

  • Submit your loan application to the bank or finance company you have chosen to proceed with
  • Complete LTA submissions required to process your COE renewal
  • Comply with a legal obligation, court order, or regulatory request

These disclosures are made solely for the purpose of completing the service you requested, and only with your consent obtained at the point you engage us to proceed with an application.

4. WhatsApp Communication

When you contact us or submit the quote form, you will be directed to WhatsApp to continue the conversation. Messages sent via WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp's (Meta's) own privacy policy and terms, which govern how the platform itself handles your data in transit.

5. Analytics & Cookies

We use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are viewed and which buttons are clicked — and to measure the performance of our advertising. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to collect this data, which may include your IP address, device type, and browsing behaviour on our site. This information is used in aggregate to improve our website and marketing, and is handled by Google and Meta in accordance with their own privacy policies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, or similar risks.

8. Your Rights

Under the PDPA, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data
  • Withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data at any time

Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide you with a quote or process an ongoing application. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
